Early in her career, she served as the Chief Cardiac Transplant Nurse at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center, and was a pivotal contributor to the launch, development and rapid growth of that world-renowned cardiac transplant program.

In 1990 she joined a biotech division of Johnson & Johnson, a Fortune 100 company. She worked in consultative sales, designed training programs for national and international affiliates; and ultimately led a team in more than half the geographic United States. In that leadership role, she had frontline responsibility for 18-20 million dollars of revenue per year in a dynamic, complex corporate environment.

She is a Certified Integral Coach through New Ventures West, an Integrative Somatic Coach through Coaching to Excellence, has certified in the Leadership Circle Assessment Tools and Workshops, Grove Principles of Facilitation, Six-Seconds Emotional Intelligence Assessment and Workshops, Barrett Cultural Values Assessments and Tools, and is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Utah.

In community affairs, she is the Past President of the Board of Directors of the YWCA Utah; serves on the Governing Board of Directors of Park City Hospital and Salt Lake Acting Company; and is the current President of Utah Women’s Forum.

With an abiding appreciation for the natural world, she enjoys hiking in beautiful places with her partner and two dogs.
