Christa Herrmann serves as the President of the Women’s Commission for the Swiss Rugby Federation, and as a Project Manager for Millionsports, aiding on strategy and development. She was previously an International Olympic Committee Junior Project Manager, supporting the committee’s venue and infrastructure team. Christa is a current volunteer for the Rugby Europe Women’s Commission as a Commission Member. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Zurich in the Science of Geography, writing her thesis on fair trade. Christa went on to earn a level 6 Diploma in Advanced Sport Management from the New Zealand Institute of Sport, graduating with distinction. She is the Co-Founder, former captain, and now head coach of the Albaladejo Rugby Club Alba Ladies, the first women’s rugby team in Lausanne, and has performed internationally with the Swiss XV’s and VII’s team. Christa has participated in multiple European Championships, most recently winning 6th place, Pool A with the Swiss VII’s team.
