Ellen Langer, Harvard Professor of Psychology; best-selling author; Founder and Chair of the Langer Mindfulness Institute, Inc. and member of the Massachusetts Women’s Forum has a new book available now titled, “The Art of Noticing.”.
She was selected as one of three to present at the 2016 IWF World Leadership Conference in Chicago as part of the Ideas Remaking the World panel presented by Accenture. IWF members from around the world competed to present their leading-edge ideas and inventions for building a better world—and better lives. IWF’s own innovators, instigators, and disruptors took the stage to make lightning-round presentations about their compelling concepts, breathtaking business propositions, and transformational technologies.
Langer is the recipient of, among other numerous awards and honors, a Guggenheim Fellowship, the Award for Distinguished Contributions to Psychology in the Public Interest from the American Psychological Association, the Award for Distinguished Contributions of Basic Science to the Application of Psychology from the American Association of Applied and Preventive Psychology, the Adult Development and Aging Distinguished Research Achievement Award from the American Psychological Association, and the Liberty Science Genius Award.
