Katie Smith is a power-house. The EY WABN Mentoring Program alum is a three-time Olympic gold medalist, seven-time WNBA all-star, and in June became one of 20 players named to the WNBA’s 20@20 list solidifying her place as one of greatest and most influential players in the leagues history.
Her reaction to the news: “Being named to the top 20 list is a huge honor. I loved the game and appreciate that people respected what I did on the court.” Katie continues to engage in the sport in her current role as the Assistant Basketball Coach for the New York Liberty and as basketball TV Analyst for the WNBA, BTN and ESPN. Off the court, Katie, an Ohio native, recently became a member of our very own IWF Ohio Forum. Click here to read a great piece from the Ohio Dispatch about Katie’s recent honor.
