IWF Hosts Luncheon In Honor of Mme. Chen Zhili and the Chinese Delegation
Washington, DC – On Wednesday, March 28th the International Women’s Forum hosted a special luncheon in honor of Madam Chen Zhili, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the 11th National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China. Madam Chen also is President of the All-China Women’s Federation and former State Councilor and Minister of Education of the PRC, as well as a 2011 IWF Hall of Fame Honoree.
Madam Chen led a delegation from China to three U.S. cities. IWF’s global officers and Washington, DC Forum members, whose work in international affairs has contributed to balance and progress in the international community, took part in the event.
