In attendance were; IWF Jamaica forum members, Mayor of Kingston & Saint Andrew, His Worship, Senator & Councillor Delroy Williams, Former Prime Minister – the Honourable Bruce Golding, Jackie Sharp, President & CEO of ScotiaBank, Members of the Senate, Members of Parliament, IWF Founding President, Pat Ramsay, Immediate Past President, Minna Israel, Peta Rose Hall, member of the IWF Board of Directors and special guest, the Hon. Michael Lee Chin.
IWF Jamaica President, Camille Facey stated, in her opening remarks, “Each year, IWF holds two international conferences in different parts of the world . These conferences are mind expanding and we always leave feeling that we want to bring the ideas and the conversations back home. Last year September in Chicago was no different; but on that occasion, after hearing Edie, we decided that this time we absolutely had to bring this speaker to Jamaica to share her knowledge, her learning and her insights. Our dynamo Founding President, Pat Ramsay, went to Edie right after she spoke at the conference and asked her if she would come to Jamaica and the rest is history.”
