Sister Helen Prejean, Roman Catholic nun and Chairperson of the National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty, was recently featured in National Catholic Reporter’s Global Sisters Report.
Sister Prejean, best known for her 1993 Novel Dead Man Walking, uses her storytelling as a tool for activism and is the preeminent leader of the global movement to end the death penalty.
She is a member of IWF Louisiana.
