The IWF Management team welcomes Priestley Johnson, a 2016 Howard University Graduate to the Leadership Foundation’s team as Development Manager. Priestley will have an integral role in the Foundation’s fundraising/development efforts. She joins us from the Walker’s Legacy Foundation, a DC based nonprofit working to provide economic opportunity to women of color.
Priestley joins the IWF team following the departure of Nikki Nesbary, the Leadership Foundation’s Program Manager. We wish Nikki the best of luck and thank her for her hard work.
In addition to these changes, IWF has launched a new internship program and has been thrilled to have the following join the team. Please encourage any local students in DC you know to apply to be a part of our team:
Sophie Cobb, a high school senior at Bethesda Chevy Chase High School has been working with the Leadership Foundation for the 2017/2018 academic year. She will enroll at Pratt University next year to study writing.
Ashia Davis, a sophomore at Pepperdine University studying International Business and Conflict Management, has been working with the IWF Program Team for the spring semester. This summer she will study abroad in Shanghai, China.
Katie Sargent, a sophomore at Georgetown University studying English, has been working with the IWF Communications and Development team for the spring semester. She will be interning in New York City over the summer.
