Over 70 IWF United Kingdom members and guests attended a special forum event last week featuring Lynda Gratton, professor of management practice, London Business School, who is ranked by the Financial Times as the management guru most likely to have an impact on the future. She spoke about her latest book ‘The 100 Year Life: Living and Working in an Age of Longevity’.
The event was hosted by IWF UK member Marcia Cantor-Grable, Board Member, Regulation Board at Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and the Prudential Women’s Professional Network at the Governor’s House. Dr Gratton encouraged members to think differently about living beyond 100 — and to embrace the opportunities longevity presents — including thinking about entrepreneurship and lifelong learning in new ways, and exploring the option of taking a ‘gap year’ to travel the world.
The discussion was moderated by IWF UK member, Kate Grussing, the founder of Sapphire Partners.
