“I am very much mistress of my home, and I love being with my children but I could never have been at home full-time. So was I sacrificing something, yes, but it was something I could probably never have had. We all have to understand ourselves and work out what’s going to create the best recipe.”
She is a pioneer in advancing employment practices in the United Kingdom which are fair to women’s needs. She serves as Board Secretary for IWF UK, responsible for governance matters and sits on their Ethical Leadership Committee. Her latest endeavor is co-establishing One Loud Voice for Women, a coordinating force for UK women’s networks which is focused on the equality agenda for women in the workplace.
