EY Women Athletes Business Network (WABN) Mentee Kim Brennan, gold medalist in Rowing at the 2016 Olympics in Rio, was name Sportswoman of the Year this month at the Women’s Health I Support Women in Sport Awards.
A native of Australia, Kim is a dual world champion in the single sculls (rowing) and a dual Olympic medalist (single sculls and double sculls). She is chairperson of the Australian Olympic Committee Athletes’ Commission and sits on the Australian Olympic Committee Executive Board. She is a qualified lawyer, having practiced in Intellectual Property law, commercial law and sports law.
Her Mentor in the program is Jo Fisher, Founder and Managing Director of the Jo Fisher Group of IWF Australia.
Applications are now open for the WABN program to former and current elite female athletes who have retired from sport or are transitioning from sport to a professional career in business, government or other spheres of leadership.
