Leadership Foundation President Reem Abu Hassan of IWF Jordan was named this week to the Most Powerful Women in Government list by Forbes Middle East.
Her Excellency is the Minister of Social Development of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and an attorney, mainly engaged in the practice of law and advocacy in the areas of human rights and judicial reform. In addition to being a founding member and former President of IWF Jordan, she is a trustee of the National Centre for Human Rights, a national body tasked with promoting the status of human rights in Jordan, and a director of the Jordanian Society for Protecting Victims of Family Violence.
She was instrumental in forming IWF Morocco and, as President of the Leadership Foundation, she works to channel the talents of IWF members and the resources of the IWF global network into programs that educate, inspire and empower the next generation of women leaders.
