Global Business leader Anita Sands – of the New York Women’s Forum – currently a board member of Symantec Corporation, Service Now, Pure Storage and Grand Central Tech was featured this week in Silicon Republic in an interview feature sharing her leadership insights on everything from team building, diversity and the key industries she is capitalizing on today.
Anita Sands appeared as a featured speaker at the 2014 IWF World Cornerstone Conference in Berlin. She shared her insights on how worldwide ideation in science, technology, engineering and mathematics would shape the future in a session titled, “Innovation: A Case for Global Optimism.”
In 2013, she was a fellow in the On the Board program, a two-year initiative with The George Washington University School of Business (GWSB) and the International Women’s Forum which uniquely prepared women leaders to become successful candidates for and directors on corporate boards. And in 2011, Sands offered her expertise on transformational strategy and technological innovation for an IWF Executive Development Roundtable customized for BAE systems in Washington, DC.
