EY Women Athletes Business Network Mentee Angela Hucles recently announced her newest venture, Ceres Platinum, founded with teammate Heather Mitts.
Angela Hucles is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and two-time World Cup bronze medalist for the United States soccer team, current President of the Women’s Sports Foundation, and sports leadership expert. Her new company, Ceres Platinum, helps former professional athletes transition to civilian life, offering support with financial success strategies, career advancements and life at large.
Her mentor in the 2015 EY WABN class was IWF Southern California Member Gayle Tauber, Entrepreneur, and CEO of Seedling Fund.
In partnership with EY, the Women Athletes Business Network Mentoring Program is designed to harness the untapped leadership potential of elite women athletes who have transitioned or are in the process of transitioning from a career in sport. Selected mentees are matched with prominent women leaders from the membership of the International Women’s Forum (IWF).
