As a former athlete, senior executive and IWF Leadership Foundation Fellows Program alum, Valeria Strappa knows the value of championing women’s leadership. She is a 2017 Women Athletes Business Network mentor and is now the new Chief Administrative Officer for Chase Merchant Services.
Strappa is a driven business leader with a consistent track record of propelling bottom-line gains for top fortune 500 companies in 36 geographies. She combines her high energy and a strong sense of ownership using her innovative and analytical problem solving approach, talent development passion and influential skills to align the organization to deliver results.

Valeria was previously the Head of Client Strategy and Management for Institutional Clients Group (ICG) in 23 countries where Citi is present, including Mexico. Until Valeria was 20, she was a professional tennis player ranked # 2 in the Junior Circuit and among the top 150 in the world professional tour. She played in 34 countries and competed in the French Open. She continues to be passionate about sport (finished 4 Ironmans, 5 Marathons; she does climbing, long distance swimming and kitesurfing) She is also passionate about traveling, animal protection and women’s education.
Italian by background, she was born in Argentina; she currently lives in Mexico after spending the last 4 years working in Miami, US.
