Executive coach and author Dr. Priscilla H. Douglas of the Massachusetts Women’s Forum recently launched her new book “Getting There and Staying There.” Renowned television personality and attorney Star Jones introduced Priscilla Douglas at the book launch in Boston, interviewing the author and moderating a Q&A with attendees. Dr. Priscilla H. Douglas is the Founder and Principal of PHDouglas & Associates, a consulting firm that helps leaders achieve breakthrough results. She brings over thirty years of real world experience and thought leadership to client engagements. Her professional career includes key executive positions in government, academics, and business where she was often the first woman and the first African American. She was co-chair of the 2015 IWF World Leadership Conference in Boston designed to explore innovations in science, medicine, food supply, energy, finance, education, and other game changing dynamics. An audience of over 800 world leaders participated in the two and half day leaders’ exchange.
As a White House Fellow, she served as a Special Assistant to William H. Webster, Director of the FBI. She also was elected by her peers to serve on the White House Fellows Alumni Association. Within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts she has held two key positions: as Assistant Secretary for Public Safety and Secretary of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulations. A former instructor in the master’s program for Harvard University Radcliffe Seminars, she taught courses in management, leadership, and organizational behavior. Douglas currently serves on the boards of Leader Bank, Landmarks Orchestra, Northeastern University, Museum of Science, and the National Council for The Eleanor Roosevelt Val-Kill Partnership. Douglas also has presented as a thought leader at the Aspen Institute, Club of Rome, and in forums in Singapore, Australia, South Africa, and Japan.
