The 29th class is the largest in IWF Leadership Fellows Program history.
Washington, DC—The International Women’s Forum (IWF) is pleased to announce the 2022-2023 Leadership Fellows Class.
IWF invests in its mission of advancing women’s leadership and championing equality worldwide through its Leadership Fellows Program, now in its 29th year. The program provides an intensive leadership development experience designed to accelerate the potential of the next generation of women leaders.
With 44 participants, the new Fellows class is the largest in program history. The 2022-2023 class includes diverse, highly accomplished women leading change in Afghanistan, Bahamas, Canada, China, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, Switzerland, United States and, for the first time, the Palestinian Territories and Ukraine. Their backgrounds include corporate, government, nonprofit, academic, and entrepreneurial sectors.
Meet the 2022-2023 Leadership Fellows here.
“The global network of peers, customized leadership training, and one-to-one mentoring by IWF’s preeminent members are a powerful combination that will propel these 44 outstanding women to new heights. As an organization, IWF is committed to addressing women’s under-representation in the C-suite, on corporate boards, and at the helm of companies and organizations across sectors. I look forward to supporting this extraordinary class,” stated Helen Rule, President, IWF Global Board of Directors.
The 2022-2023 Leadership Fellows begin their journey at a three-day program orientation, curated to build community amongst participants and connections with IWF, and then join the IWF 2022 World Leadership Conference and Gala from November 1-3 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fellows convene again for tailored in-person professional development sessions at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France, and Harvard Business School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. Virtual programming, personalized insights and advice from IWF mentors, and individual work on a legacy project to apply and extend their knowledge for their organization’s or community’s benefit complement the Fellows’ experience as a group.
Applications for the 2023-2024 Leadership Fellows Program will open on January 1, 2023 and will be due June 1, 2023.
