Anne Coleman-Honn has worked as a Foreign Service Officer with the United States Department of State since 2002 and currently serves as the Deputy Director in the Office of Eastern European Affairs, covering Ukraine, Belarus, and Moldova. Her previous roles include Deputy Director in the Office of Central European Affairs, Head of the Political-Economic Section at the U.S. Embassy in Chisinau, Moldova, Political Unit Chief at U.S. Embassy Stockholm, and assignments in Montreal, Panama City, and Manila.
Anne graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the College of William and Mary and has a master’s degree from the College of Europe in Belgium, which she attended as a Fulbright scholar. She has been recognized with a Mathilda Sinclair language award and co-founded the Balancing Act organization, which is focused on work-life balance and innovation at the State Department. She and her husband Aaron Honn, who is also a Foreign Service Officer, have three children.
