As the CMO for Pangea Cyber, Grace Francisco is responsible for the adoption and growth of a new product category–Security Platform as a Service (SPaaS). Pangea has introduced the industry’s first solution enabling software developers to incorporate security functions into their applications with a simple call to Pangea’s API services. Grace was previously the Vice President of Developer Relations Strategy and Experience at Cisco–responsible for defining and growing Cisco’s broad-based developer strategy. Grace grew the developer membership of Cisco DevNet from 500k to nearly 1 million members during her tenure, accelerated automation practices with Cisco’s developer community, and drove API-first standards across Cisco product teams.

With more than 15 years of developer relations leadership experience across enterprise, small business, fintech, consumer, and gaming, Grace was the developer evangelist for Microsoft’s first offering of enterprise developer tools. Well-known for creating programs to meet developers’ needs and rapidly scaling communities, she also founded and led developer relations at Intuit, Yodlee, Atlassian, Roblox, and MongoDB.

Grace is a passionate and committed diversity advocate and has created and sponsored multiple volunteer-driven programs, including serving as co-chair for Women@Microsoft Silicon Valley. While serving in this role, she launched a diversity speaker series and peer mentoring program, empowering and supporting women in technology careers. Grace is a frequently sought-after speaker known for her deep expertise in developer relations. She also has served as an advisor for Startup BootCamp and several early-stage startups. She began her career as a software engineer at Lotus/IBM.
Grace previously served on the board of the Drupal Association and is the co-author of three patents. She graduated cum laude and holds a BBA in Business Management from Golden Gate University.
