Maria De Los Angeles Diez Alonso has been President of El Globo since 2018, the most important bakery / pastry retailer in Mexico with more than 195 points of service. She is the first woman leading an organization in Grupo Bimbo Worldwide.
Before being President for El Globo, Maria De Los Angeles was Marketing Vice President with a successful and solid marketing experience of more than 29 years in multinational, Fortune 500 corporations, such as Procter & Gamble, Yum Restaurants (former PepsiCo), Bristol Myers Squibb/Mead Johnson, Clorox, Wal-Mart, and Grupo Bimbo, leading and translating vision into clear strategic commercial plans, product launches, communication and commercial innovations, customer development and shopper understanding.
She was recognized for the 4th consecutive year as one of top 100 Most Influential Women in Mexico by Expansion Magazine (ranked as #26 in 2020 and #30 in 2021).
