Vice President, Human Resources–Organizational Development
Marie-Josée Boivin is Vice President, Human Resources – Organizational Development at Bell Canada, Canada’s largest communications company, providing advanced broadband wireless, TV, internet, media, and business communication services throughout the country.
Accountable for a diversified portfolio, she currently leads organizational development functions including talent acquisition, learning and development, engagement, diversity, equity and inclusion, mental health at work and talent and performance management. She oversees a team of 65 HR professionals.
Since joining Bell in 2002, Marie-Josée occupied several human resources leadership roles across the organization working closely with several businesses, including: finance, legal and regulatory affairs, corporate services, Bell business markets, network, IT, and field services. Prior to her current role, she occupied the role of Vice President, Total Rewards, for 3 years.
Before joining Bell, Marie-Josée was a management consultant at Deloitte Consulting, where she was involved in many transformation projects in both Canada and in the US. She also worked as a Director, Human Resources for Bank of Montreal in London (England) and in Toronto.
She holds a BSc. in Industrial Relations from the University of Montréal and a MSc. in Management from l’École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC), Montreal. She completed a Strategic Human Resources Executive Program from Harvard University.
Marie-Josée is a member of the board of directors of the Sainte-Justine Hospital Foundation, where she leads the human resources committee. She is also a member of the board of directors of Selwyn House School, where she is part of the governance and the marketing committees.
