Vanessa Flores is the Sales Director for Mexico and Central America at Ferrero. Her professional experience encompasses consumer packaged goods (CPG) and pharmaceuticals. She began her career in CPG at Nabisco (now Mondelez) as a Category Manager. A year after she entered that role, she transitioned to MARS. During her 13 years at Mars, Vanessa held roles such as Trade Marketing Manager, Key Account Manager, Team Leader of Wal-Mart, and National Operations Manager.
To expand her experience, Vanessa moved to the pharmaceuticals industry, first working as Sales Director at Pfizer Nutrition. She held this role for 6 years and then transitioned to Astra Zeneca as the Lead of Sales for Prescribed and Controlled Drugs. While at Astra Zeneca, Vanessa realized that she wanted to return to the CPG industry, an aim she achieved (with the help of a personal coach and hard work) by transitioning to Ferrero, where she has been for the past three years. Vanessa is a dynamic leader, who is results oriented and with a strong market vision. She enjoys her work and is very passionate about growing in the industry.
Vanessa was born and raised in Mexico City and now lives in Guadalajara. Vanessa’s personal hobbies include traveling the world (42 countries to date), Pilates, and focusing on her mind and soul with guided meditations and retreats. She also holds a true passion for all kinds of food and considers herself a “foodie.”
