Dr. Guila Clara Kessous, Member of IWF France, Named Woman of the Decade by WEF

Dr. Guila Clara Kessous, member of IWF France and UNESCO Artist for Peace and Peace Ambassador, was selected as the recipient of the Women Economic Forum’s (WEF) prestigious Woman of the Decade Award, in recognition of her commitment to promoting and defending human rights through art. This award honors pioneers with a distinctive voice and vision who inspire a new narrative of inclusive leadership across all walks of life. The award was conferred at WEF ASEAN 2025.
In addition, Dr. Kessous recently participated in two symbolic peace gestures that reflect her ongoing commitment to cultural diplomacy. At the 78th Cannes Film Festival, she released a white dove above her head as she arrived for the screening of the film Dossier 137, a visual expression of peace and unity in the most prestigious film festival in the world. She was also invited to release a dove during the Greek Olympic Games in July.
